So typical.  A photographer who doesn’t like her portrait taken.  I have taken hundreds of portraits and haven’t had one taken of myself since Brooks….  Oh the many assignments I modeled for.  But now it was time to suck it up and be serious…. kinda.  =) Every week I document beautiful girls preparing for their amazing wedding day or having a play date for engagements or bridal portraits but never of myself.  When girls tell me their camera shy I can totally relate.  The thought of it made me cringe.  I was nervous and had put it off till the very last hour.  But it WAS A BLAST and this is why…..

When PAPER CITY asked me for a photo of myself I knew where to go!  Jordan at ANTHROPOLOGIE in NP picked out the best threads.  Then I called on SONIA an amazing hair stylist and MAYRA a killer makeup artist.  Not only did these girls make me feel and look beautiful but I laughed and had the greatest time ever!  Oh their funny jokes had me in tears!  And when I thought it couldn’t get better my husband and I went downtown to take this portrait.  This is our passion and it is our work so we take it seriously while having a great time!  I will remember this play date the next time someone asks for my portrait and won’t think twice about how much fun will be!  Thank you LOVE!  Photo by MARK MCWILLIAMS.  XOXO!!!  TG
