My Little Sugar Bear

HappyBirthdayO1st This past week, Mark would ask me every day “What were we doing one year ago from today?” We then would smile and tell stories like we’d heard them for the first time – ever. Friends reminded me of the days leading up to his birth and their visits at the hospital. There are little things that I especially liked to think of like the day we brought him home and when he first found his toes. Every little newness has made time slow down and the magic of it has been a thrill. My little sugar bear is just that – my total reminder of love and sweetness. Today he turned 1 year old and he gave me his first big bear hug. I was pure butter in his arms.
