{blake and nicole} Dallas Belo Mansion

This Summer sizzled when Blake and Nicole tied the knot in Dallas at HPUMC then celebrated at the glorious Belo Mansion.  Mary and the girls with Diamond Affairs did it up as always - with their elegant event design and coordination.  They had the stunning flowers from Bella Flora, super yumm Cakes from Dallas Affairs and fab lighting from LITE Dallas.  From the dinner rehearsal at Arlington Hall at Lee Park and the Sunday brunch at Fearings it was flawless and you should see it! rivers001.jpgrivers00025.jpg rivers00030.jpgrivers00070.jpgrivers00082.jpgrivers00110.jpg rivers00129.jpg

Misty & Steve love to travel together, so when Steve decided he wanted to propose how was not a question.  On a flight of course!  The pilot came on and announced “Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your Captain speaking.  If you have a moment, please turn your attention to the Lady and Gentleman standing in the aisle near Row 24 for a special announcement.”  Passengers cheered, Misty said yes and the rest is beautiful history!  001.jpg003.jpg009.jpg074.jpg 081.jpg

The Perella Marshall Wedding

Mikael and Frank married June 06, 2008 at Arlington Hall at Lee Park.  Good friends Brian Long (florist) and soon to be sister in law Lisa Kulp designed this beautiful day full of crystal and rose hues.  Watch their wedding movie online here.mikael.jpgmikael7.jpg mikael2.jpg mikael1.jpg

Mikael’s Bridal Portraits at Arlington Hall at Lee Park

Who doesn’t love the high ceilings at Arlington Hall, along with amazing chandeliers, fireplaces, mirrors and not ever overlooked on it’s very own hill in historic Lee Park.  This is a gorgeous place and they chose here to host their ceremony and reception.  But first, for her only, Mikael’s portraits.mikael5.jpgmikael61.jpg

Mikael Marshall & Frank Perella

Mikael came to the studio knowing I was going to photograph her.  Lisa Kulp, her soon to be sister in law, highly recommended me and that was it for Mikael.  Lisa is design partners with Jennifer Clark (Coley’s Wife) and I had photographed their wedding last Fall at The Mansion.  Our next step was, of course, engagement portraits with Frank.  We went for personal and easy at their home.  mikael4.jpg

Making History in Historic Places

Marti & Andrew first dressed at a boutique hotel in Ft. Worth Etta’s Place.  The two had an intimate meet before the ceremony where they captured each other’s hearts and joined hands to do this together.  Then off to The Ashton Depot for their ceremony and reception.  Marti gave her bridesmaids personalized vintage makeup cases with scarfs.  Texan Pecans in jars embellished with their colors and stamps as Thank You’s was a hit!  Every detail spoke personal style and fun! martin1.jpgmartin2.jpgmartin3.jpg
